Chequered Justice: If only some of the stories in this book are true, then the British legal system is in disarray. While the author claims that he cannot reveal all the details of his case, a quick Google shows that he was involved with the types of car he describes and this lends credence to his story. A very good read and one not to be taken lightly.

Chequered Justice:
This is a fascinating and compelling fact based crime drama set in the world of motor racing. The book cleverly weaves various events into the court room by switching from present to past. The descriptions from life at the racing track are vivid and as the story unfolds it is difficult to put this book down. A remarkable debut novel.

Descriptions of the motor sports scenes are brilliant. Story full of unimaginable intrigue and injustice. Can’t wait for the sequel!
Chequered Justice:
To the ordinary man or woman in the street the justice system of the UK is a somewhat distant safeguard of the freedom to live in security and safety. However when the system becomes the servant of the rich and powerfull in society then it becomes a tyrant of the most detestable kind.
This story is a graphic illustration of what happens to the ordinary person when justice is compromised by the powerful in society. I am left with the sense that two world wars were fought to give us merely the illusion of democracy.
Read the book, its more reality than fiction!
Chequered Justice: Having been involved on the sidelines of this “fictional” account, I found it fascinating. A really good read. John has carefully woven the motor racing events into the harrowing story of police investigation, court appearances and injustice. It certainly creates some anxiety in the reader about the judicial system in England. At the same time giving insight into the stresses, both physically and financially, in the world of motor sport. Anyone who picks up this book will find it hard to put it down until the last page.

Couldn’t put this book down until I got to the end, absolutely riveting and will now see racing drivers with new eyes… rightly called a compulsive read and certainly very believable!
